For an additional, non‑refundable fee of 6% of total cost of rentals, the Renter may purchase a Damage Waiver which, if purchased, relieves the Renter of financial responsibility for accidental loss, theft, or physical damage to the Equipment occurring during the rental period up to the waiver limits shown on the rental agreement; the Damage Waiver does not cover loss or damage resulting from gross negligence, intentional acts, misuse, failure to follow operating instructions, unauthorized repairs, normal wear and tear, or loss of accessories or missing items unless expressly stated, and it is void if the Renter fails to report the loss or damage promptly or to cooperate with the Company’s investigation; the waiver must be purchased at or before the time of rental and does not relieve the Renter of any other obligations under this Agreement, nor does it limit the Company’s right to pursue claims for fraud or willful misconduct.
